TGES treated us to a wonderful tour led by Pareesh, an awesome educator. Here we are at the Taj Mahal (left to right) Pareesh, Penny Honeycutt, an awesome principal at the Inner Harbour School in Douglasville, Georgia, then myself and Jerry Self.
Below is a video taken outside a restaurant where we stopped for lunch somewhere between Agra and New Delhi. Penny and Pareesh dance with this darling little boy.
The other video was taken at the TGS Teaching for Understanding campus; (Jerry and I refer to it as the Lime School because the campus is full of lime trees, and we enjoyed fresh limeade in the library during our visit.) We were extremely impressed with the students as you will see in the video below. These students were doing an excellent job of explaining (enthusiastically) their projects! Wow!
While in Rajkot we enjoyed facilitating a workshop for some of the teachers at TGES. I insisted on purchasing saris to wear to the festival each night; but Penny and I had some trouble figuring out how to put them on! We had to get some expert help from the hotel staff!
